BWE Response to Cancellation of Wire and Tube 2020
BWE has been informed by Messe Düsseldorf that much to their regret, wire and Tube 2020 has been cancelled. The latest developments and the administrational decisions in Germany have finally led to the decision not to stage the fairs.
BWE has exhibited at every wire show since it was established in London. The event was relocated to Basel, Switzerland in 1972 before moving to Düsseldorf in 1986. For more than 50 years, this has been a very important event for our team to meet new and existing customers and to showcase new technology, machines and innovations.
Consequently, we encourage all existing and potential customers to contact us via this website, direct email or telephone. Online meetings via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, Skype or other, can be arranged very easily and at short notice.
Throughout the pandemic, our manufacturing facilities have remained open and we have continued to meet contractual obligations. A new SheathEx™ 550 machine is due for shipment at the end of the year and a new Conform™ 315i has been delivered to Sheffield University, UK.
Innovation is key to our success and our Development Conform™ / Conklad™ machine has been very busy with proving trials for new applications. If you have a new application you wish to develop, test and prove, please get in touch.
BWE will continue to participate at wire 2022 and other events, when it’s safe to do so.
We sincerely hope things improve globally very soon but until we meet again, please stay safe and healthy!
